Boat Docking Policy for Nor’Banks and The Village Table & Tavern
The pier at our sound front location is operated by our friends at Nor’Banks Sailing and Watersports. The Village and Nor’Banks will be happy to welcome your arrival by boat for lunch or dinner during operating hours.
Please understand that should you choose to use this complimentary service, you do so at your own risk. The Village Table and Tavern and Nor’Banks Sailing and Watersports assume no liability for any injury or damage to any vessel resulting from the use of this service.
The Nor’Banks staff will greet you and direct you to an available space on the pier to unload. Please approach with caution and patience as Nor’Banks crew’s first responsibility is to the care and safety of their customers on the water.
Please keep in mind that the approach to the Nor’Banks pier is very shallow, an average of about 2ft. Please trim up and come in at idle speed on the north side of the flag channel. (The channel is no deeper, it is used to direct WaveRunners in and out of the ride area.) If possible, hail the pier crew on VHF channel 7 to consult on your approach.
Nor’Banks Sailing is a busy watersports operation with limited dock space, but there are additional moorings available for the free mooring of your vessel. It’s likely that the Nor’Banks crew will have to move your boat to a mooring to allow other vessels to load and unload at the pier.
The Nor’Banks crew will return your vessel to the pier when you are ready to board. This is a complimentary service provided by our friends at Nor’Banks. It’s customary to tip the dock crew for assistance provided.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing you soon!
