Answers to Commonly Asked Questions

How do I make a reservation?

The best way to make a reservation is by visiting our reservations page where we accept reservations for parties of ten or less.

What if my group is larger than 10?

In season we are not able to accommodate parties larger than 10 for dinner. You may make multiple reservations through our online reservation system but please note that they will be treated as such and we cannot guarantee adjacent seating or a shared server. Also, we kindly request that children are seated at a table with a parent or other responsible adult.

Do you accept reservations for outside seating?

Outdoor dining on our upstairs patio is first come, first served and cannot be reserved online. We recommend coming early and getting on the wait list for those tables.

Do you accept reservations for the bar?

Yes! We serve our full lunch and dinner menus at our inside bar. Reservations for bar seating are available through our online reservation system for dinner only. Please note that bar reservations are for bar seats at our lively full-service dinner bar. Those reservations cannot be transferred to a table.

Do you offer takeout?

Yes! We are typically able to accommodate takeout orders via phone for both lunch and dinner. During peak business hours, you may experience a long wait time for orders.

Are you dog friendly?

Dogs are welcome in The Sound Lounge, our ground-floor open-air, waterfront bar; however, The Sound Lounge is currently under construction. We are making some exciting changes for the 2026 season and expect it to open mid-June. Due to NC health code, only service animals are allowed in our upstairs restaurant, which includes our upstairs dining deck. Emotional support animals are not considered service animals under NC law and therefor are not permitted in the restaurant.

Can I come by boat?

The pier at our sound-front location is operated by our neighbors at Nor’Banks Sailing and Watersports. The Village and Nor’Banks will be happy to welcome your arrival by boat for lunch or dinner during operating hours.

The Nor’Banks staff will greet you and direct you to an available space on the pier to unload. Please approach with caution and patience as Nor’Banks’ crew’s first responsibility is to the care and safety of their customers on the water.

Should you choose to use this complimentary service, you do so at your own risk. The Village Table and Tavern and Nor’Banks Sailing and Watersports assume no liability for any injury or damage to any vessel resulting from the use of this service.
